In order to obtain a high school diploma, all students
must take the NEVADA PROFICIENCY EXAM and receive
passing scores in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Science.
These requirements meet the graduation requirements
only and do not guarantee the student will meet the
entrance requirements for colleges or universities.
Students are encouraged to contact the colleges of
their choice for verification of specific entrance requirements.
In order for a senior to walk in the graduation ceremony,
he/she must have successfully completed the required
22-1/2 credits as indicated above. A student who is qualified
as a special education student must meet the requirements
set forth in the Individual Education Plan (IEP), which may
differ from the above requirements.
The teachers, administrators and staff of Yerington High School welcome your comments and/or questions. Please feel free to contact us anytime.
